What is the difference between a uniform Schengen visa (USV) and a Limited Territorial Validity visa (LTV)?

A Uniform Schengen visa is a type of Schengen visa that allows the holder to enter all Schengen countries during the visa’s validity. Whereas, a Limited territorial validity visa is issued in specific circumstances only, like humanitarian reasons or if their is any international obligations. LTV allows visiting only the country that issued this visa.
