What is the Entry/Exit System (EES)?

EES is a new digital border rule introduced by the European Union in every Schengen country to monitor the entry and exit of travellers in the region.

EES is required for all travelers who enter and exit the Schengen countries. In the system, you need to digitally record your entry and exit at the Schengen borders. However, both UK citizens and UK residents (holders of a UK eVisa/ sharecode) will require EES.
